yesterday i took the kiddies to the pool
it was cloudy and i didn't want to swim so i made henry stay in his car seat and hang out with me
luckily eleanor just likes to hang out on the stairs and the little ones wore life jackets
they had a lot of fun
eleanor got out first, she always does
i took a few pictures of henry exploring the backyard in his diaper
henry is all boy and i couldn't love him more

the true shenanigans were at bedtime
with these two girls
jumping on their beds and between their beds...
i eat oatmeal just about every morning
but i often wait to eat it until all the kids are done and have gone out of the kitchen
mama needs some quiet and not to share sometimes
this makes me cringe but henry got his legs stuck in his crib TWICE today
this one was the worst
out and back in...i hope he never does that again
the kids were getting a little bored today
it's been a long week
i was really glad i had some new kites for them to use in the backyard
i also made banana bread because we had some ripe bananas
and i had some whack pigtail braids all day
that got worse and worse

the legs through the crib....oh my gosh!!!
what a great thing to have a back yard where you can fly kites. so much fun.
ps-i want some banana bread now. :)
the leg in the crib... yikes! garrett got called to the hospital because there was a kid with a kind of fracture you basically only get by having your arm twisted so they had to rule out abuse. the kid got his arm stuck in the crib trying to climb out and then flipped over the side. it just makes my stomach turn. glad no injuries on henry :) how in the world did he manage that??
