mid-october life

henry loves the new watering can i bought at ikea

 he's also a big fan of daffodil

 and ice cream dates with mom and dad

while the other kids are at primary program practice

 michael swore he didn't actually fall asleep before church the other day

somehow sacrament meeting was still just as hard with only henry and jude to watch after..

 jury duty

thank goodness the defendant plead guilty before the trial and they didn't make us stay on call for the week like last time i had it in january

 i convinced michael to stay home the rest of the day since he'd taken it off for my jury duty anyway

 so he got to be there to take henry to his first day of preschool 

(well, the two week observation anyway)

we don't think he'll get in but he's enjoying going for a little bit anyway

 noah had a half day and went with me on all my drop offs and pick ups 

 half day= hot chocolate, popcorn and a movie

 jude still loves the swings

 i went on a girls night with crystal, mandy, melissa and jenni to flatbread and sodalicious

 the boys woke up first one morning

 biking eleanor and jude to eleanor's dentist appointment seemed like a good idea

until my tire wouldn't stop rubbing the frame of the bike making it nearly impossible

at least i got a really good leg workout..

 sweet michael knew i was babysitting for crystal and carlin

and then hanging out with crystal until i needed to get eleanor

and he sent me and crystal jimmy john's! so, so sweet

we were very touched

 jude LOVES leaves

such a fall baby

 henry seemed to have a rough day at school

so we went for icees after i picked all the kids up

sometimes i wonder if i'm a fun mom or a pushover :)

 just 25 intricate felt mice for eleanor's kindergarten class

everyone loves it but i'm still not 100% sure if it's a good fit

i'll probably wait to hear if henry gets into preschool before i decide to join or not

 michael's parents bought all the grand kids kites so we went to lindbergh to fly them

 sunday we got up and drove all day home

 jude is such a good traveler! thank goodness

all the kids did really well 

it was such a nice visit and fun to see family and celebrate great grandma
