i made a summer tradition of taking each kid grocery shopping with me each week
they LOVED the one on one time and helping decide what to buy
the kids had colds for a bit so i didn't want to take them in public but we needed out of the house
so we went to read books on blankets at crest airpark
it was very nostalgic
still loving my daily morning walk/runs
i love all six kiddies in one view so much
it's getting more and more rare these days
we didn't quite finish it but we started a treehouse in the backyard
and you've never seen a happier boy than henry getting to help with any sawing or hammering
the pool was worth the trouble if only for this cute little swimmer

the hunts came for a visit and it was a wild but amazing time
wild because their van was stolen from our driveway the first night they were here
but amazing because it was recovered and nearly in normal condition
and they got almost everything back! phew

it was so calm and quiet
noah woke me up extra early so i made him go on my morning walk with me
a little room makeover for olive and eleanor while they were gone

hazel sprained both her ankles at my parents house in a tractor accident
sophia was sweet to come visit her and help her feel better
noah's three month post op appointment was great and he was cleared to do everything
yay!!

my dad felt so bad but it was just an accident with my niece driving the tractor
hazel had a good 3-4 week recovery with daily wrapping and bracing her ankles
but she was ok in time for girls camp which was very important to her
she liked the extra attention it gave her :)
my sweet sister was our airport shuttle
and then she moved the next week
at the beginning of july my parents offered to watch our kids for a couple days
michael and i didn't plan anything until last minute
we decided to spend the time in LA

it was fun to explore our old stomping grounds with twice as many kids

we stayed in spokane for a couple nights and we loved being back there, too
the kids love staying in hotels and this one was really cool
even if they have to share beds :)

the kids were happy to be back in idaho, even if only for a little while
truth be told the whole trip was a bit of a disaster
with fighting kids and lots of grumpiness but it's ok, we tried
silverwood for olive's 11th birthday!!
