sewing, jumping and a mother's day tea

i'm not done yet but i'm making hazel a dress to wear for her birthday
as soon as she saw it she yelled, "i looove it!"
so now i'd better finish it
michael has been learning 'hey jude' on the piano
i love it
a little jumping with the big kids

i love our eclectic seating in the playroom
little chair, settee, vintage school desk, knock off eames rocker, vintage kid chairs around the table...
we should probably get another couch some day but we'll enjoy this while it lasts
i've been raiding our backyard for flowers for teacher appreciation gifts
these were for olive's preschool teachers
and tomorrow i'll send some with noah and hazel
as well as chocolate for their teachers
eleanor, henry and i went to olive's school for mother's day tea
it was pretty fun
eleanor is so ready for preschool
olive gave me a flower and a card
a few pictures after dinner of the little ones
henry has been fighting a little fever this week
and eleanor threw up shortly after this
but that may have been from drinking way too much hot chocolate for dessert

I can't believe how tall Hazel is! It seems like just yesterday she was crawling around on our blanket at concert in the park!
