sewing: a new outfit for hazel

i made hazel this skirt with leftover fabric from making myself a skirt
and made her a shirt just for fun
i didn't know she'd pair them together
but i think it's pretty cute
and i don't mind her little jeggings underneath, either
please don't judge the disgusting kitchen floor
sometimes sewing wins out over cleaning

Haha I didn't even notice your floor. I was too busy admiring the cute outfit! It looks adorable together! I'd love to make shirts, but they intimidate me! Also, do you have a serger?

Thanks, Sara! I do have a serger but it's such a pain to rethread that I haven't used it in probably a year or more. I just zig zag over everything so it won't come undone. I should really stop being a baby and use my serger again.

Love the outfit! I have a love hate relationship with my serger for the very same reason!

I keep thinking I'd sew more, if I had a serger. But I think I'm kidding myself.... Because they seem more complicated, than a skirt! I'd still love to have one though!
