my 600th post

 i threw a baby shower, noah's birthday
and the stake primary easter activity
all within two weeks of each other

michael is stressed so i'm ready
for him to be done with this semester
only a week and a half left

i wish it would warm up
i need sunshine

olive got her first tooth a week or two ago
and now she has a second one

i really want to go on a vacation
but i'd settle for a date with my husband

i feel like easter was a bit of a bust at our house
due to hazel vomiting
and me being too busy to plan anything
for our own easter

i was just thinking about my new years resolutions
and i'm sucking at all of them...
1. instead of running a marathon i'm running a half
(with both my sisters so i'm excited about that)
2. michael and i have read scriptures together
every day of this year
but i'm slacking at my own personal reading
3. i haven't sent my niece kamryn
anything for her birthday
and it was a few days before noah's

i rearranged the kids rooms
and it felt so good
we just needed a change, a break
we just need a little vacation
that's all

Oh my goodness! How did the Easter activity go? I was thinking about you this year, and was feeling relieved I didn't have to worry about that...but I totally get it, I don't think we did much last year in our family for Easter because of the Easter activity either...I was too exhausted!!! Hopefully you can have a bit of a breather now until Pioneer day!! Just a couple more weeks, then the semester is done, and you can be completely relieved!!! I hope things start feeling better soon!

I can't believe you have 600 posts! I looked up mine and I have 300! But each year I add more and more, and I don't have kids so there is less to write about. But awesome for you. I love your blog! You are an awesome person! I love learning a little more about you each post!

Next time you guys are over this way, I'll watch your kids so you guys can have a date. It really is amazing how a little time away with your hubby helps.

As for the 1/2 marathon ~ with the three of us doing it we're really running a marathon AND a 1/2. It will be great!

Wow 600 posts. That's crazy! I love reading your blog. We will be leaving for the summer after Ian is born in June. But we need to be better neighbors and hang out with you guys. It seems like there is never enough time to hang out with everyone.

French, WOW! 600! That's so great. Also, great that you're all together. I'd love to come watch the kiddeos while you guys go on a date! Especially since Olive takes a bottle, she wouldn't have to nurse from her mommy's sister! (okay, that's gross and I've never done it before...but, I mean, if you were open...). :)

p.s.) Look at what you've done with your goals! You've taken things and made them work for you. That's the best. What good is it to doggedly meet goals just to save face? (or in my case--foot?). ouch.

Rachael, Kami knows you love her!! Don't stress yourself out trying to be perfect!!!! You already are! Sienna said that a baby looked like "our" Olive the other day at target. It was so sweet......... Then she followed it by saying, loud enough for the other mom to hear, "But our Olive is cuter." Talk about embarrassing. We had a talk about how although she was right we don't say things that will hurt other peoples feelings. She is hillarious!

I can totally understand these feelings. You are not alone. For once we actually had a good Easter cause we made the effort and scheduled a cabin and got away. Much needed. Sounds like soon you'll have a better opportunity to do so. As far as those Resolutions, yeah I slack and then have to get back on the wagon. And I wouldn't be disappointed about the 1/2 marathon!! That's still a great goal!
