family movie night in our cozies
jude hates sleeping alone
so he often convinces eleanor to sleep with him
jude orchestrated a paper airplane contest for our family
and because he has us all wrapped around his little finger, we obliged
even though it was late and we were tired
the kids gave the kitties a bunch of styrofoam 😒
making homemade ornaments as a family
cozy sewing in the snow
fancy post thanksgiving dinner at home
so much fun playing in the snow
snow day! no school, lots of baking and movies and playing
made myself a new dress out of fabric i pieced together
girls day decorating cookies with the olsons
i love that he wears his sisters handmedowns
playing uno with mittens
addressing christmas cards while i watch while you were sleeping
we surprised them with doughnuts
best friends
middle school dance/cheer performance
spencer's bday party
downtown enumclaw was so cute
we walked around and got dinner
this little fort eventually took over the entire bonus room
practicing our sacrament musical number
eek
getting their hair did
potato leek soup and homemade rolls for dinner
and toffee for friends and neighbors
secret santa shopping for each other

our little 90s heartthrob
who knew a backyard shed could make me so happy
ripping out the girls closet and rearranging their room
and we pushed the boys beds together because they're always sharing a bed :)
eleanor, "help, there's a cat on my head"
progress in the girls room
date night to paulo's was delicious
cutie
brudders
still wearing the bonnet i made him as a babe
all dressed up for church on sunday
we sang away in a manger acapella
and it was special
i didn't know when i volunteered michael and the girls singing
it would become a family affair but i'm happy we did it
monday this week i finally got my uterine mass removed
it wasn't the most fun
but it's been nice to relax the week of christmas instead of stressing
it also motivated us to get shopping and wrapping done early
surgery was successful but recovery has been more painful than i anticipated
it feels a little like i had half a c-section wonk wonk
the oldest three were going ice skating for mutual this week so michael took the little three so they could skate, too while i rested at home
pretty snowfall meant the kids only went to school one day and it was late start this week
instead of three days but they aren't sad about an extra long winter break
eleanor made gingerbread men for the kids to decorate
because jude was sad to miss that part of his class party at school today
she's so sweet
henry made a sign for my door to remind everyone to let me rest
sweetie
the girls are having their christmas sleepover
they've been planning for a bit
i'm hoping to feel better as the week goes on so i can enjoy christmas
laying in bed is getting old already
