 hanging out in downtown PA

a birthday zoom for uncle kyle's birthday
helping grandma feed the animals was a highlight for henry
saying goodbye to grandma and grandpa kelly
 matching long hair and bangs
last visit with grandma and grandpa olson

 early birthday celebration for olive

 ferry ride to seattle

 slurpees
it was debbie's birthday so she and eleanor baked cupcakes
a late night visit with andre`a
 olive is TEN!

 opening presents
she loves her new tablet

we all love monica's pug Franklin

my parents came to celebrate, too

hazel and halea love each other
 sisters
 birthday twins
before driving home on the 4th we decided to wait in line to get into ikea for 45 minutes
it was worth it

we got home late and after being away from home for 3 weeks
noah went straight to his friends house

sunday we set up our new ikea dining table and made a slide out of the boxes
by the evening we were watching hamilton
and jude crawled up and fell asleep next to me
which didn't seem too crazy because we traveled the day before and stayed up late on the 4th
but when he woke up he was having a seizure and had wet the couch
we didn't realize it was a seizure because it seemed like he was just tired and stuck between asleep and awake (probably not a thing now that i think about it)
he lost his bowels on me at home and we went to the car and he spit up on me
his eyes were open but they weren't registering us and he couldn't talk
we got to the ER and they gave him ativan
and  he kept seizing so they gave him another dose that made him sleep for the next 8 hours or so
he had to be transferred via ambulance from meridian to boise to the children's hospital
he stayed asleep but threw up as soon as we got to the hospital downtown
we hadn't seen him normal and awake in so long we worried he wouldn't ever wake up
but he did at 3:30 am and was mad and confused (rightfully so)
and pulled one of his IV's out
he wanted me to sleep in his hospital bed with him which worked out
so i could plug him back in every time he ripped anything off
he woke up so mad he was in a diaper so luckily they found some undies for him
getting an eeg

he got his blood tested, an MRI, an x ray, cat scan and eeg and nothing explained why he had such a long seizure (45 minutes to an hour)
but he threw up the whole next day (my guess is from the anti seizure meds) and was so happy to go home
sweet friends spoiled us with dinners for a few days which was really helpful
unintentionally my last picture with long hair
eleanor volunteered to do her own laundry and i decided it's time for all 4 big kids to start so we'll see how that goes
it's been tricky to let jude do normal things but also worry about a secondary seizure
(that is most likely to recur within the next six months)
so one of us tries to always be with him
we rode bikes to the pool as a family

 cut my hair
i decided the kids needed some extra attention
after their long time away and jude's seizure
so we had a girl date while the boys had their own date
we went to target
i bought them matching robes and face mask

 we did makeovers
ate treats and watched a movie
while the boys played mini golf, did bumper boats and watched a movie outside on the projector
 family game night
and another trip to the pool

jennie's family stayed a night with us and we all loved it

someone ding dong ditched balloon animals for the kids
it was very sweet
henry's drawing of the boys and girls
 i loved this
henry and eleanor started speech and we waited outside for them
jude found a rollie pollie
a family trip to the zoo
(can you tell we don't hate michael working from home?)

dressed up for a date night

 our new table and chairs
and thinking about painting that white wall on the right a dark color and changing it up
target and cafe rio (eaten in the car) as a family
we went to the hunts and saw their new gorgeous house

their neighbor's have this pond/swimming pool and let us use it

 star gazing

we stopped at shoshone falls on the way home

it feels like the month of july has already been 3 years long but hopefully jude doesn't have another seizure and this will be a distant memory one day
