the lourve, musee d'orsay, saint chapelle, luxembourg gardens, the pantheon, notre dame and montmartre

we only got the museum pass for two days so we crammed a lot in those days
we started wednesday at the lourve

 monalisa

then we headed over the bridge to musee d'orsay
i loved seeing all the van gogh pieces they had there

we were starving so we ate lunch at the museum...not great

next we headed to saint chapelle which was originally built to house the crown of thorns
it is now in the notre dame
 the stained glass is incredible

we walked past the prettiest flower market
 notre dame

we went in the notre dame but got tickets to go up the tower for a few hours later
so we figured out how to rent bikes and took them around
it was the most fun ever! i felt like i crossed something off my imaginary bucket list
it felt so magical riding bikes around paris

we rode to the luxembourg gardens
and ate gelato while we looked at a pretty fountain

 the pantheon

 cough...more gelato....cough
it was hot
and they made this one into a flower and put a macaron on top so i couldn't resist
then we headed up the tower of the notre dame
it was pretty awesome
pretty awesome to see the belfries

the views from the tower were amazing!

 on the metro
this sign has "love" a hundred times
 walking around montmartre

 dinner at roberta
