we started the day with breakfast at pain pain
which is the cutest and everything we tried there was amazing
the fresh squeezed orange juice in france is THE BEST
michael has requested a juicer like they use for his birthday next year
also, i don't think i'd ever had a proper croissant until this one
it was SO GOOD
we went to la marais to go shopping
but first, more juice
delicious
i loved all the architecture and doors
this was at an insanely expensive store called merci
crepes
shopping on champs elysees
stopped at laduree for macarons
that were SO good
lunch at a little place on rue cler
we got SOAKED in the heaviest rain running back to our air bnb
and decided to wait it out by watching a movie
which actually meant we fell asleep for longer than expected
back up and at 'em for the evening
we walked past the moulin rouge
and went to see the opera house
even though we'd slept past the last tour so we couldn't go inside
we found the biggest, fanciest grocery store and got gelato
time for bed
