so many snow days

we've had more snow this month than we have for many, many years

and it has resulted in 6 snow days 

(which is how many snow days our school district had taken in the last 18 years combined)

 luckily we have lots of helping hands when it comes to shoveling the driveway

 and treats to keep the troops happy

 i used the days stuck at home to sew a little

eleanor loves her new shirt

 thank goodness for all the 90's movies on hulu

 another day i made snickerdoodles

as the snow melts we have to start worrying about flooding

 we've spent lots of time clearing the ditch to help the water flow from our house (way back there)

to the drain

we even had church cancelled one day which was kind of fun

 the girls are so cute in their critter socks

 lots of lego club

 and fun playing with the big kids who are normally gone all day

while i am super tired of driving in snow

i have enjoyed having the kids home more this month and getting to stay home on snow days
