on our last day in utah we planned to spend pretty much the whole day at thanksgiving point
there are so many fun things there and it was all free to us with our boise science center pass
we went to the new museum first
the museum of natural curiosity
we hadn't been there before and it was awesome! we easily could have spent the whole day there
i thought they were so cute outfitted for the water room
these two loved the wind tunnel
michael and the kids teeter tottering
henry was a big fan of the 3 and under spots to play
michael is such a fun dad
always playing with the kids
they loved the room of blocks
and the movie room
then we got slurpees and lunch before heading to the dinosaur museum
the kids had been to the dinosaur museum a few times but they still really like it
especially playing in the sand and water
eleanor kept trying to push olive off the head of the dinosaur...
ahhh, a shark!
lastly, we went to farm country and had so much fun petting and feeding the animals
of course the real highlight was pony rides!
eleanor was especially unhappy when it was over
i just love seeing my kids on horses
it makes me so happy
we walked through the gardens on our way out
then we made the long drive home
eleanor tried her hand at peeing on the side of the road but no such luck
she did so well with her recent potty training on our trip
we were really happy
it was such a great trip!
i'm glad the kids could reminisce and we could see some of our old friends
and do some familiar things we'd missed
they had such a good time
it was totally worth it

Sounds like such a great family vacation. We were planning on doing one this summer as well. Just didn't happen with the craziness this summer. Hopefully next summer.
