lazy day at the beach

saturday was our last full day there

so we got up early and got jamba juice

 saw a rainbow

 and quickly went to the aloha stadium swap meet to get the kids some souvenirs

all before we needed to return our rental car at 9am 

 then we got ready to boogie board with our thrifted boogie boards

 we walked further down the beach than we had and it gave a great view 

 we were slackers and didn't hike diamond head despite being next to it

oh well, it looked pretty from afar

 i stayed close to the shore

but michael went out pretty far trying to boogie board

he felt like he got pretty trashed from the waves

and regretted it but i'm glad he tried it

 then we ate lunch on our bed and watched a movie and took a nap

 this was the view from our 20th floor hotel room

 then we got all fancy for our last night there

 another peek at diamond head from our hotel on our way down

 we walked back to the rainbow drive in

 we got dinner to go and shave ice to eat on our walk back to the beach

 we ate dinner at the beach

 and watched the sun set one last time

 and took lots of pictures to commemorate our trip
