sweet e's, lanikai beach, and another movie

friday we took a break from our less than stellar hotel breakfast

and went to sweet e's

it is a tiny restaurant so you have to put your name on a wait list 

and wait outside until they're ready for you

 going out to breakfast is my favorite

and i love getting hot chocolate 

so even though we were in hawaii and it wasn't cold, we got hot chocolate

it was delicious

 the food was so good, too

then we went to lanikai beach

which is ranked among the top beaches in the world

 it was gorgeous

 you can kayak out to the island on the left

but the guy we called to get one never called us back so we didn't worry about it

 the whole island is so pretty

 then we got slurpees (we took a break from no-slurpees for the week)

 and went to another movie

 we love going to movies but don't get a chance that often without kids

so we took advantage of it

 this time we saw aloha 

which was fun because it took place on oahu

 then we went shopping at a nice mall and got a movie from our hotel's free red box sort of machine

i loved this bike we passed on our way to get pizza

 michael was so cute waiting for pizza
