mother's day 2015

these kids were so sweet trying to make today special for me

 noah bought me a flower from the farmer's market with his own money yesterday

and got up with henry just before 7am this morning so i wouldn't have to

 hazel made me sweet cards

and filled out fun questionnaires from school

one included that i sing as pretty as a bird and clean as well as a maid

she also drew some pictures of me sewing her dresses

 olive told me happy mothers day lots of times

including during the breakfast prayer, really loudly

she also made me a card at preschool and gave me a plant

although she thinks the plant is supposed to be for her

 eleanor kept singing happy mother's day to you

to the tune of happy birthday

it was really cute

she is so sweet

at nursery she told them she likes me because i'm nice

 poor henry has developed an allergy to the burts bees soap and lotion

i've been using on him since birth

so he was not a happy camper today with a rash

he's a little sick anyway and not the happiest

i hope it passes quickly

 michael tried to make today special

and made me a really nice breakfast

and pizza for dinner

 i kind of hate mother's day

but it was a good day

and i really do love being their mom
ps. noah is definitely crying in all of these pictures
i think it was because we suggested his brown shoes over his black shoes... :)
