michael is 31!

i started the party prep by making challah a couple days ahead of time
so we could have it for breakfast on michael's birthday as french toast
then the day before i made michael's mint oreo cake he requested
and decorated
and made some humongous chocolate chip cookies
because what's a birthday for michael without chocolate chip cookies?
we had challah french toast, orange juice and bacon for breakfast
michael wore the hilarious birthday shirt i made him
based off "the office"
he enjoyed reading his new book, and playing with his new projector
which is olive's new favorite thing because it means any room can be a movie theater
this is the card i gave michael :)
during the day we went to the mall and got michael a few things he's been needing
then we took eleanor to another ENT appointment
where they confirmed she needs tubes put it and tonsils and adenoids removed
then after the kids got home we went to red robin for dinner
where they sang to michael, of course
 family picture
we don't go out to sit-down places like this very often these days
we do more fast casual
so this was fun
but also a little stressful
we have a lot of kids
then home for cake
it was a really fun day celebrating michael
i can't believe he's in his 30's and i'm just here chilling in my 20's for a few more months
he's so old :)

You are so good at making birthdays amazing! That cake looks so delicious. And paint you used fabric paint for the shirt? I want to make a few workout tanks. What a fun day!

What a great job you did for his birthday! I love the shirt, but I LOVE the card even more! Ryan and I had a great LOL moment over that one.
