spring break...so far

i decided to make a little chart of things we'd do and what we'd eat for lunch each day
so there wouldn't be any arguing over either of those things
monday was the science center (and hot dogs for lunch :)

after the science center we walked across the bridge to the park and played for a little bit
and before it was time to go home, i let the kids throw some rocks in the water
i've switched back to a backpack-diaper bad this week to have my hands free
henry on front and it on the back worked pretty well for the park
after lunch we put the little two down for naps
and i let the big kids play with beads and make necklaces
they loved it
tuesday's activity was the library (with mac & cheese for lunch)
they had a good time picking out books and movies to help entertain them the rest of the week
i tried to get a picture of all of us on our way out of the library
it was kind of a bust
but it shows at least our heads :)

i don't know why i love this blurry picture of the kids watching bambi (with popcorn, obviously)
but i do
after michael got home from work, i went to a massage he'd booked me
i'd been meaning to get one since my car accident but hadn't
it was so relaxing
plus, he made dinner while i was gone, did the dishes afterward, AND stayed home
and put the kids to bed so i could grocery shop alone
AMAZING
i don't think i've had that much alone time in....a long time
and in other news....as of today i've lost 20 lbs since january!!!
woohoo!
 i am feeling really good
and so proud of michael and myself for making some big changes this year
and getting healthy
today, wednesday, our only plans were to go to the park
and eat grilled cheese for lunch
as i was making the grilled cheese i had one of those...
-wow we have a lot of kids-moments #assemblyline
and sadly we didn't even make it to the park
instead the kids played outside while henry and eleanor took turns napping all day
close enough, right?
i kind of wish we'd planned something awesome over spring break
our week is a little lame at home
but i talked myself out of driving to my parents' house by myself
and the kids seem to be having fun so i guess it's ok
