the nutcracker + michael's work party = super fun saturday

i took these pretty girls to see the nutcracker today

i love taking them to the ballet each year

it's a super fun tradition 

 i like that they get to see the potential of where ballet can take them

and we can have a girl date

we're excited for eleanor to join us next year

 the ballet was at boise state university

 we saw our good friends there, too

it was so exciting

 i let them each pick an ornament as a souvenir

they loved playing with them the whole time 

 hazel picked ballet slippers and olive picked a dancing ballerina

they did a great job sitting still and watching

i'm already excited for next year

tonight was also michael's work party

our friends the hunts watched the kiddies

they are so great

 at the party!

i love going on dates with this guy

it's so fun to talk and be together uninterrupted

 we had appetizers, dinner,

smores....

 cupcakes...

and had a super fun time chatting it up with a guy michael hardly knows and his wife

and getting to wear this new dress i'd been saving for tonight

was pretty great, too

it was such a fun and exciting day

i can't believe Christmas is less than two weeks away!
