we moved to idaho!

what a week!
actually it's only been a few days but it's been crazy
and busy and tiring
we made it to idaho! we love it here
but first i'll backtrack to how we got here
friday noah and hazel had their last days of school
here's a picture of noah's first (left) and last (right) days of school
noah didn't technically finish for another week but we pulled him out early so we could move
and hazel
who was officially done with kindergarten
i love how disheveled the kids look by the end of the year
i think we're all pretty ready for summer

we packed up our tiny house while the kids were at school
it was way too small for us and our landlord was kind of the worst
but we will miss this house
i was so glad natalie stopped by to say goodbye!!
i am going to miss her for sure!! (love you nat!)
michael's engineering friends came to help us move
it was so sweet of them and they did so much!
along with michael's dad and a guy from church
we stopped for slurpees one last time because they don't have 7eleven in idaho
and michael got us humongous cups
it was so big and so good
then we got the kids and hit the road
idaho!!! i can't believe we live here now
the kids did so well on the drive
hazel gets anxiety on long car rides which isn't fun
but luckily henry slept almost the whole time and didn't make a peep
such a blessing!
michael's parents helped us move and sent us out on a date
we finally got to see divergent (so good!)
 michael's grandma came, too
and it was so good to see her
the kids love her
i love this picture of her and olive
 hazel and grandpa
henry and his great grandma shirley
we are loving our new house! it's so big and awesome
the kids especially love our new tub in our room
eleanor snuck upstairs the other day and got undressed
and when michael walked in she was so proud of herself and all ready for a bath
silly girl
henry has his own room and started sleeping in his new crib yesterday
we live closer to target (hurray!)
and the kids had fun trying on hats the other day
today i stayed home with the little ones and michael took the big kids
to the sweet park near our house
they loved it!
there's a splash pad, fishing pond, playground, popsicles!
since henry has outgrown the cradle
it's been sitting in the garage
olive and eleanor love to play in it
they are so cute
we are really loving it so far
but moving is a lot of work!
i'm so glad we gave ourselves this week to get settled before michael starts work!

thinking about moving with 5 kids, one of which is a tiny baby gives me anxiety. you are awesome. but that totally blows there are no 7elevens! I knew there was a reason I didn't like Idaho ;)

I'm so glad you guys are enjoying the new house! What a huge, awesome transition for you guys. Having Henry so close to moving has had to a big challenge. But you did it!And the kids looks happy about it.

Looks like your having a blast so far here. We're loving it too. There seems to be a lot to do, and some really great parks for the kiddos. Yay for a bigger house!

I can't wait to see the house! I hope you will do a little tour once you are all set up. I am sure it will be super cute because you have great style! I am happy you made it safe and without any trouble. And it is over and now you are real adults! Hurray!
