ideally all of our kids would have their own rooms
but since we're in the last year of michael's grad school
with 4 kids (and one on the way) in a 3 bedroom house
it's not in the cards yet
eleanor still naps twice a day and sleeps a solid 12 hours at night
so she's not quite ready to share a room
we really like her to sleep
so noah, hazel and olive share a room
and until recently hazel and olive shared the top bunk
but they were bothering each other (ok, olive was bothering hazel)
so michael transformed a toddler bed into a trundle for olive
and she loves it
noah can't get into his bottom drawers while her bed is out
but he prefers pajamas anyway ;)
we don't have any toys in their room (other than stuffed animals) but we do have books
olive's dresser is in the closet
here it is all tucked in
i'm not sharing this because i think it looks really awesome or anything
i'm sharing it because i don't want to forget how hilarious it is
to have three kids crammed in the smallest room of the house
and if you're wondering how well they all sleep in there together....
hazel's pretty good since she's on the top bunk she can ignore her siblings
noah always stays up reading no matter what
and olive just doesn't like to sleep that much but does like to play with noah..
so not great but it works for now
it definitely brings them closer together and helps them become more easygoing sleepers
and hopefully next year michael will graduate
get an amazing job and we can have a huge gorgeous house with a room for each kid...
(a girl can dream, right?)

How awesome that Eleanor still takes two naps! Holla! All four of our kids still share a room, and we love it for so many reasons. We know it won't work forever, but it is sure great for now.
You are great at organizing. Yes, things will change. You are such an amazing couple. I know you have a great future ahead of you.
I love that you are blogging about this. You guys are going to look back at "the good old days" and be able to remember these times. I think it looks really cute, like everything you touch.
I bet the kids will look back and love these memories. I always liked sharing a room as a kid. do you make their quilts? I love them!
I kind know what you mean a little bit. We are in 1 bedroom apartment right now and we tried sharing a room with Ellie but it just wasn't working. Now we sleep in the living room and Ellie has her own room, haha
You guys are pretty amazing with how you've made that work. Seriously, I would got insane! It's pretty cute, though. And P.S. we have that purple dress that Olive and Eleanor were wearing in the last post in Hailee's size... I should give it to you so all three of your girls can be matchers! (Hailee will never wear it anyway. :)
