one of my favorite things about being a mom
is watching my girls act like mommies
hazel started really young
and now just this week olive has walked around
with a purse over her shoulder
and today fed a baby her own bottle
nothing is sweeter
maybe it's because all i can remember
was wanting to be a mom when i was little
or maybe it's because i think it's so special
that even at 15 months old olive knows her role
heavenly father made us this way

it is one of the sweetest scenes to find your little girl mothering a dolly!
I read something a long time ago about how much of a miracle it is that little girls turn into mothers ~ and we tend to not view it as a miracle because it takes 20-30 years. Olive and Hazel will be very nurturing big sisters to new baby.

Isn't it amazing how much they absorb? Even when they are that little, they are paying attention! Good thing they have such a good example to follow!
That is sweet indeed! 15 months, and she's already trying out the mommy role! She's going to be an awesome big sister :)
