look what else i made

a little pillow
my mom happened to give me these two scraps of the brown floral print
i love them
i think this is a good use for them
plus a little practice quilting
isn't it darling?

and another bag

i used it for church today
it worked pretty well
it's nice and big

sewing is fun

maybe one day i'll venture out and use a pattern
for now though, i like freehanding

Frenchie, you're so awesome and I miss and love you! Today's the Boston Marathon, I partly feel like I'm running it, too, even though we're just watching.

Nice work! Free-sewing is sometimes where we come up with the best designs. Lovely! Thanks for following me, too.

You've done it once again~ What is this Richard business from Pinks? You really are a domestic deb now. (much better than a debbie downer).

I never used a pattern when I sewed. I hated the whole pattern thing. You do an awesome job free handing it. You are a very visionary person. (o:

Oh, and I loved Hazel's hair flower yesterday.
