the beginning of november

michael took these cute girls to the daddy daughter dance that activity days put on

eleanor was SO proud of herself for earning a foot at school

which means she ran several laps during recess for the pacers program 

her reading is starting to pick up, too

 we spent all of last saturday working on the bathroom and finally got it tiled

the kids fended for themselves

(we let the big kids ride bikes to dairy queen for a little independence)

they ate way too much halloween candy but we got the tile all up

this is the last tile i'm holding

 after a long day we took the kids to fanci freez for dinner for the first time

 so happy to have made some progress

 michael baking peanut butter cookies with my apron on before church

 i love it when the girls want to play with my hair

even better when all three do it at the same time

 the kids helped me vote

and by help i mean they made it much harder and louder for everyone

 mr independent getting a drink of water

 michael was sweet and went with me to the opening of a cool new store at the village

 i thought henry was cute all bored looking on the toilet 

 i walked into my room and jude was sitting like this for another little while

 i can't believe that soon i'll have a teenager

 molding going up in the bathroom

 jude was yelling superman

 eleanor is so sweet

 noah woke up friday morning and said he didn't feel great so i said he could stay home

he went back to bed around 7:45am until 2:15pm! i couldn't believe it

maybe he's growing

i had to watch him sleep after a while to make sure he was still breathing

 michael and i finally got our expired driver's licenses renewed 

(they don't warn you and we had no idea they had expired on our birthdays)

so since noah was home all day i left in the afternoon and got there

it was an hour and forty five minute wait

and michael met me there

and then our car was ready to be picked up so we had three cars in boise

but eventually made it all home and we were going to take the kids to cafe rio

but they were too tired and hungry so we got them dinner and then michael and i headed to dinner

and to pick up our third car

 yesterday (november 10th) jude got his first haircut ever

 michael and i both felt ready so we figured we should just do it

 so handsome and grown up now

(hazel says she misses his hair already but i think it was time)

 carlin and i went to a little holiday boutique together

 the rest of yesterday we mostly worked on the bathroom some more

 when we got home from the hardware store the kids set up a little surprise spot for us

and really wanted to make us something and help us relax

it was very sweet

we let them make cookies all by themselves

 they did a great job

 the sweet note they gave us when we got home

 dinner at cafe rio with the kids

 we hoped to get the bathroom done yesterday

but it isn't quite

we are so close! and so excited for it to be done
