more summer fun

andre`a and her family stopped by for sacrament in our ward on their way home from utah

it was so fun to see them

 we picked a bunch of raspberries from our yard

 ready for bed

 eleanor pretended she was hazel to try to trick us since they were twinning

 henry's blanket had been lost and he was so HAPPY to find it in the boat

 pool day

jude climbed up onto kathryn to drink his bottle

 henry finally let me cut his hair. it was worth the 2 ice cream sandwiches

 hiding in the cupboard

 just like when noah was a baby

 my sweet friends came to my rescue while i was watching another friend's baby for like 8 hours

while she had surgery

they are the sweetest

 hazel was such a helper with the baby, too

it's tricky to watch someone else's newborn all day

 so big sitting at the counter

 as soon as our next door neighbor laura left after her haircut

jude climbed into my hair chair and said, "uh hair" 

 michael's jamming

a nasty stomach bug wiped all the kids out

 riding the Winnebago

 eleanor took a 3-4 hour nap while she was sick, right in the middle of the playroom floor

 these cuties made us pancakes for dinner

 i took hazel on a little school shopping date

 we went to micron family day and had so much fun

 free food and lots of fun

 that afternoon we were home with no plans and ryan and his family asked to stop by

on their move from washington to utah so ryan could take a nap

it was so fun to see them

 eleanor picks the best outfits. this was for church

 boys

 olive is such a deep and complex thinker

she asks the best questions and thinks about things that i would never think about

two batches of jam thanks to michael

 playing battleship with the bubble machine on

 sitting at the table with a dictionary booster

 raspberry milkshakes for dessert

 i love hanging out with my friends while the kids swim. it's so easy and fun

i took the kids to comba park, hoping to play in the splash pad but it wasn't working

we always enjoy the garden behind, too

 we went and had lunch with michael afterward

 eleanor is the cutest

she realized all on her own that her doll matches this dress and found a matching bow, too

i never even realized i'd used the same fabric for all these things

 late night date night at target closing down the store

i love him so much, especially for knowing just what i needed when i needed it

i love being their mom

and when the pool is empty

 henry was trying to run up the stairs and ran right into them with his eyebrow

it was a nasty bruise

 henry made an invention 

i think he said it was a bubble blower/vacuum

 olive matching her doll (kind of) for bedtime

 he's the best

 summer is the best

 the big kids had ridden their bikes to the pool and henry really wanted to be with them

on the way home so he ran ahead and noah ended up letting him on his pegs and gave him his helmet

it was the sweetest scene to catch up to

 we love when daddy comes home

 wild friday night

 i guess michael and henry were both ready for bed

 we made it to a late session at the temple

summer is pretty much the best
