noah is twelve!!!

 i can't believe i have a 12 year old! it makes me feel so old!

we let him open his presents first thing since it was a saturday and everyone was home

 the only thing we got him was this huge train set he's been wanting forever

 he was SO happy

i guess we made the right choice :)

 chocolate chip pancakes!

 almost as tall as his mother

 we went shopping so he could spend his birthday money from his grandparents

and ate lunch at panda express (his favorite)

 he decorated his cake for me

 with three birthdays in 2.5 weeks we were a little tired of big parties 

so he invited a couple friends over to play wii and eat pizza

it was low key, super easy and he had a blast

 good thing he has henry to help him blow out all those candles!

 it was a fun day celebrating noah and reminiscing about when he was born

and thinking about how different our lives are now than they were back then

i am so happy i'm his mom

 monday morning was less fun when i took him to his 12 year check up

and had to head lock him while he was hysterical about one little booster shot :)
