the rest of january

we have not minded the warm weather recently one bit
it's SO nice, especially after last winter
olive came home asking to sun bathe in the front yard one day so everyone joined her
with popsicles!

noah cleaned the downstairs one night instead of reading
and made me lemon water
he is so sweet
 another tooth lost
i gave hazel some fancy pinterest inspired hair for church
michael surprised me and wore his bowtie

we love 1:00 church
and it doesn't hurt that jude comes home
and then takes a "nap" until the next morning almost every sunday

i'm pretty happy with the new look of the living room
i used my hair money and bought us a new bed frame
we love it
these two love to play outside

 eleanor snow white
this is what happens when i let henry eat a pudding cup in the car
 henry washing the windows...
but he finally potty trained so he could do whatever he wanted and i'd still be happy

 eleanor cinderella

twins
cupcakes for our next door neighbor laura for her birthday
michael went on a campout with the scouts so we had a pizza/movie night at home
 recital day!
i as pretty proud that i got eleanor's short curly bob into a bun

 olive is happily in gymnastics
but she still wanted to dress up and wear make up to the other girls` recital
hazel is looking so grown up

hazel's recital was first and eleanor's was second so i volunteered to be her class mom
the girls had fun backstage before and after their turn dancing
she was so excited for her dad to bring her a flower
miss hannah is hazel and eleanor's teacher this year
hanging out at the hunts after church
henry and darcy are getting so big
henry likes to help me prep dinner
eleanor loves to be a helper
she is always trying to do nice things and help clean
the other day she put everyone's laundry away for them because she wanted to do service
she is the sweetest!
 getting back into running
and cloth diapering now that i'm down to one in diapers
waiting for henry's bus one day
eleanor got a reward at school, hazel's teacher e-mailed to say what a joy hazel is,
and olive befriended a little girl who is in foster care that just moved in with a family in our ward and the mom texted to tell me what an answer to her prayers olive was in the little girl's life
all within 24 hour hours
way to go girls!
eleanor put her ballet stickers on jude's face..
so cozy on her way out the door
 jude is just the cutest
i love all the faces he makes

i gave blood at micron and then ate lunch with michael and later in the afternoon he gave blood
i'm sure he worked sometime that day, too ;)
i made myself a shirt and a dress (picture down further)
homemade pizza
 such a sweet helper
 and henry being henry
insisting on sitting in jude's high chair and making me spoon feed him
while he keeps his arms at his sides....
 cuties at cafe rio
these two have been working on their splits a lot
i am pretty flexible but michael is not
and the girls (especially hazel) have to really work on it
i love how often hazel falls asleep with her face in a book
 the new dress i made
i love it
having a flat foot competition with a young man in our ward we used to teach
he might have me beat but our feet are pretty similar
making treats on sunday after church
we tried and quit the YMCA within three or four days
it's not a good fit for now, it's expensive and henry and jude hate the child watch
but the positive is, i learned i really prefer our treadmill at home to the ones there
we took the kids swimming before we decided to cancel it
and they loved it but i'd forgotten how much i hate indoor pools
they're so cold and getting changed after is miserable
we'll stick with our outdoor neighborhood pool from now on
 the first ones up
we really wish micron was closer to home so we could eat together more often
but occasional lunch dates will have to do
 accidental twinning
olive is still loving gymnastics
hazel working on her splits at ballet
henry doesn't like riding the bus to preschool (he loves it on the way home)
so he was crying as he left the other day so i made him a little guy to match
the patch on his shirt i'd put on after he'd cut it with scissors a long time ago
the only way henry will stay in time out is if i force him to
he had thrown a train track at olive...
so cute getting the last drops of milk this morning

I love all the every day things you document . I think we don't pay enough attention to living in the moment.
