we left portland and went to astoria straight up to the column
the kids wanted to use these little posts as seats
and then someone offered to take our picture with them
such a pretty view
michael's parents met us there
we bought the kids airplanes at the gift shop to throw down from the top
it was a nerve wracking work out to walk up and down with all the kids while holding jude
a picture with grandma and grandpa
we ate lunch at kfc and then waited for the trolley to come
it was the best trolley ride!
the trolley driver/conductor was so cute and put his hat on noah
then michael
and then let the kids come up to "help him drive" and pull the bell
sweet baby fell asleep
they had the time of their lives
then we drove to the 100 year old little cabin we rented off of airbnb
it was nice to feel like we were in our own space
even though it was tiny
the kids loved that there were toys, puzzles and games to play with
that afternoon/evening we went out to sunset beach right by the cabin
jude's first time to the ocean
