grandmas and grandpas

we had so much fun with both sets of our parents here

they came for jude's blessing and it was so fun to have them here

 michael's parents brought a second Christmas

 we blessed jude on new years day

so we celebrated new years eve with our parents

 my parents came in the evening and just stayed for a day 

and michael's parents stayed for a few more days

the kids loved all of the attention

 eleanor thought she was so funny putting grandpa's hat on him 

 michael's parents left a little before midnight

but amazingly the rest of us (minus the three littles) made it until midnight

and watched the potato drop on tv, drank sparkling cider and used little poppers to welcome 

the new year

 jude is a big fan of grandpa 

my dad couldn't get enough of his little smiles

 before they left to catch their plane grandpa kelly took the kids sledding in the neighborhood

they loved it

 saying goodbye

 michael's parents spent monday with all of us 

since the kids had school off and michael took the day off

and tuesday they took henry and eleanor for the day so i could have the day off (with jude of course)

and spoiled them rotten

they loved every minute of it

it was such a great visit with our parents
