friday i went to olive's classroom for mother's day tea
she drew this picture (it's upside down from my camera) of us on the hammock as a place mat
it was adorable
along with everything else she'd made me
they performed the cutest songs for us
she served me my muffins and banana and water
and threw our trash away
it was very sweet and i loved every minute of it
saturday morning we got up and went to a few garage sales
and then the boise farmers markets
noah was so sweet to use his allowance to buy me a flower
he gave the rest of his money to a homeless mama while we were waiting in line for mini donuts
he is such a sweetheart
we walked through the market to the capital and got a quick private tour from noah
who recently went on a field trip there
we walked back through
grabbed a jamba juice and got balloon animals
and then this sweet guy got me some flowers at trader joe's before we headed home
this morning (mother's day)
michael let me sleep in and the kids gave me so many gifts when i came downstairs
lots of necklaces and cards from the kiddies
it was so sweet
michael made me a dutch baby for breakfast
it was so delicious
no one has ever been cuter than this kid eating cantaloupe
some pictures before church with the kiddies
the kids sang in a primary program for the moms during sacrament
and all our kids stood together and waved at me
it was the CUTEST!
and during relief society they gave us mother's day brunch
how sweet is that?!
and we visited and had a nice lesson
my sweet friend jenni brought over paper plates for me to not have any dishes
and michael bought pizza yesterday for us to bake for lunch today
it was perfect
i am so, so grateful to be a mom
and so grateful to have such an amazing husband that takes care of all of us
i felt very loved today
