noah is ten!

noah bear turned 10 yesterday
a few days ago we let him look through his special box
look at him holding up the first piece of clothing he ever wore in the hospital when he was born
michael snuck in for one last picture before noah turned 10
for breakfast he asked for cookie crisp :)
i took him subway for lunch
he happened to be sitting next to katie, a girl he's had a crush on since last year
it was fun to visit him for lunch and see how it all goes every day
we told him a couple days ago if he moves all this bark he can earn $20
so he spent a little time after school working on it :)
when noah got home we ate dinner (lasagna, green beans and cheddar biscuits
then we watched noah open his presents
olive made noah an origami dog
he loved all of his presents so much
a couple of his very favorites were mario maker for the wii
and this enormous lego set he's been dying to get but didn't think we would
 time for ice cream cake

i stayed home and put henry to bed while michael took the kids to a lego store nearby
but they were closed
instead they got their faces painted by some women who were leaving from a birthday party
today we threw noah a birthday party

we ordered pizza and noah invited 10 or 12 friends over
 eating pizza
 the wonky pinata i made

the kids had a blast in the backyard, playing wii and legos
henry really liked dipping carrots in ranch
we sang to noah and then the kids ate cupcakes and ice cream
 opening presents
 pinata time

this kids knocked it off it's string
so michael ripped it open and threw it in the air
the kids loved it
as the kids left we gave them  a glow bracelet, a glow balloon and a candy
 it was a fun party
super low key but everyone had a lot of fun
noah loved it
and i'm so glad he had a good birthday
it's hard to believe he's 10 years old!
he is the sweetest boy and we are so proud of the young man he is becoming
happy birthday, noah!!

I love that your low key party is way more fun and fancy than I ever do. We all have different strengths, right? ;) 10 is super exciting. Double digits! Yay Noah!
