a perfect weekend

we didn't have any plans this weekend at all

(after noah's friday night birthday party, that is)

so we slept in a little saturday, went garage saling 

and out to lunch

michael picked where we were eating and surprised us with the new meridian big jud's

much to all of our surprise it was their official grand opening

and it was a total party

kids meals were only a dollar

the big jud special (with this enormous burger and fries and tots was $7 off)

 while we were waiting for our food michael took the kids outside to get balloon animals

so i had to take a pic with our enormous burger when it came

 fancy balloon animals

 a picture with JUD! michael was so stoked

 they also gave the kids ice cream cones for dessert for free

it was a total jackpot day to go 

not to mention we beat the rush and were seated right away

and when we left there was a huge line 

olive said that it couldn't have been any better and she was right!

we spent the rest of saturday around the house and finished watching the new star wars with the kids

before bed

 sunday we got up and got ready for church

the girls and i all wore dresses i've made

i just made mine this week and i love it

this was the best pic we got of all of us (with michael behind the camera) before henry ran away

eleanor was feeling shy

i like watching the progress of noah chasing henry in the next few pictures

 after church michael worked more on the playhouse while the kids played badminton

we ate dinner on the patio and it was perfect

i love our new picnic table and having meals outside

and the weather has been amazing

it's making us excited for summer
