the last week

henry begs to bring his blanket in the bath with him all the time

so i finally let him try it the other day

very disappointing..but he did let me wash it which was nice 

 still enjoying my bangs but some days are better bang days than others 

and i'll probably have to trim them pretty often because i'm taking prenatals

 so cute in her earth day garb

 henry is a cute little bird watcher

i made hazel's way too big at first so it became mine

we all love matching each other

 i'll have to do this more often

 monkeys jumping on the bed

 costco with mr independent henry lately is much more challenging

in fact, most things are more challenging with him lately

 i got henry his own scooter at a garage sale and he loves it

and can actually use it

 sweet little angel

 we've done a week of unplugging from tv and electronics this week

inspired by the kids' school

which meant a lot more creative (and messy) play

it's been good for them

 i loved looking out the window to see all the kids sharing one garden box

 a hard FHE lesson on patience :) 

 michael made a lot of progress on the playhouse and the kids have been playing in it non-stop

 these two can't leave a crate of raspberries half eaten

they ate the whole thing in one sitting

 coming down the stairs holding hands?! too cute

it was pajama day in hazel's class

 henry getting tickled by eleanor while he lays on her lap

 olive found this dress my mom made me when i was her age and she loves it

 running to me after video day in ballet

 giving my (large) belly a hug

 the city has been sponsoring fun activities for unplugged week

so we went fishing a few days ago after school

 noah was stoked to see his best friend there

i woke up this morning with eleanor smacking my face

and almost stepped on olive on my way out of bed

noah and olive each had bad dreams

but mine was really good. i dreamt michael and i went to paris and it was so beautiful

 we've been needing a fifth stool ever since henry decided he was done with his high chair

and it's been a bit of a problem every morning when there aren't enough spots 

but our new stool(s they come in a set of two) came yesterday and the kids were very happy

 i walked into the kitchen to see the kids performing a Christmas song in front of the mirror together

 they are so cute

 henry loves my oatmeal and loves to beg for bites 

good thing he's so cute

 it's been a good week

i think the kids are excited to watch a movie tonight

....

i had a 16 week appointment for the baby yesterday

and things look great

we're excited to find out what we're having in a couple weeks 

the rest of a good week, a date with olive and noah earned his bear

i cut myself some bangs on a whim

olive loves that we're even more identical now

 i love how good hazel is about practicing piano

she does it in the morning before school and after school, too

noah doesn't remember as often

 henry taught himself a new trick

he turned the bathtub on and got himself a drink

 hiding my bangs by day two :)

that bun on eleanor is my favorite but she hates it when i put her hair up

 i was feeling kind of down in the morning so michael offered to meet us for lunch

it was the perfect pick me up

cafe rio really nails it every time

 eleanor changes her outfits several times a day

i wonder where she gets it :)

they love using the slide as a water slide with the sprinkler

 pretty flowers from michael that have lasted a few weeks

 after school fun

i love our backyard

 trying to scare me

too bad they're so cute

 we've eaten dinner outside almost every night this week

including this fancy chocolate chip pancake meal

 i realized olive needs more mom time

and i need more time with her by herself

so after ballet we got frozen yogurt

 and a new water gun from target

i feel bad for olive. she is definitely the middle child and she needs more attention

than i can give her. one on one is perfect. we'll have to do it more

 eleanor picked henry's outfit out for me yesterday

 noah earned his bear at scouts
