valentine's 2016

making valentines for school

hazel's were bubbles, noah's were star wars  and olive's were doggie pencils

 eleanor helped me make cookies for olive's class party

 olive's class party was so cute

i was really glad i could go help

 i made a bow out of olive's bun

 last night michael and i went on a date while the kids went to babysitting at the alexander's

we had dinner at grimmaldi's just like last year

 their pizza is sooo good

 yum

 then we went to see the choice

it was really good 

so was the popcorn and icee

 this morning (valentine's day) we had waffles and hot chocolate

 for breakfast before nine o'clock church

 the kiddies finally got to wear the dresses and bow ties i made them for church today

my valentines

 i wore one of my vintage dresses from my grandma to church

i like how festive it is

 we gave the kids little mailboxes with conversation hearts inside

and a box of chocolates

they're so excited to leave each other notes

 they were so excited

 eleanor couldn't believe what was inside her little heart shaped box

she yelled CHOCOLATE!

 i love these cuties

we had some pizza for lunch and now we're having a low-key day

i am so glad michael and i could go on a date last night

he is my favorite and i love having time with him

and i love making holidays special for our family
