for the first year we lived here we had a zoo pass
we liked it but it's a really small zoo so you see everything when you go
and i think the kids got a little tired of going so often
so we let it expire and we plan to just go on their free day once or twice a year
yesterday was a free day so we went
feeding the goats and sheep
poor eleanor stepped in a deep icy puddle right when we got there
so she had to wear a skirt we had in the car
i'm sure she was cold but it was better than wet cold pants
we let them ride the carousel
i think it was henry's first time
he loved it
we always love to see the zebras
and the penguins
the giraffes were inside because it was cold
me and henry
after the zoo we went to the discovery center where we still have a membership
and they'd changed most of the exhibits so that was fun
the girls loved the magna-tiles
noah and michael built a car together
the second room was all made out of tape
you could write on a tape board
walk through a tape tunnel
and sit on tape furniture
in the last room they made half of it a toddler play area
and the other half still has some of the old exhibits
henry was in heaven in the pit of balls
afterward we went and ate lunch at costco
and bought a few groceries
then spent the rest of the day at home
it was a fun saturday

There is a teeny tiny zoo in Idaho falls, and I totally get that it's only worth it on the free days. Cute family!
I tried emailing you. I had a few questions, I'm new to blogger.
