date night, glorious date night

when we went to hawaii last summer, my biggest take away

was that we need more date nights

we don't spend nearly enough time away from our children nurturing our relationship

yet somehow it's been 4 months and this is our first time to hire a sitter since our vacation

so i finally booked us a sitter and we made it happen

we went to the village and ate at kona grill

 dinner was delicious

 after dinner we shopped around

i went a little crazy at paperie and pen and i'm so excited about the prints i bought

we got dessert after we shopped and then headed home to the kiddies

 i asked our sitter to take our picture when we got home :)

 it was funny this morning when michael slept in and the kids asked me to make waffles

how happy i was to oblige

it was good to have a little refresher

and we should really do it more often!
