all the in between

 henry threw all the food i gave him on the floor in favor of a plastic eggplant toy

 hazel wore eleanor's baby on her shoulders much to eleanor's delight

 how could we not stop (in our neighborhood)

and test michael's skills after that cold open on the office?

he nailed it and it was hilarious

 last friday we took the kiddies swimming and then met natalie for sno cones

 they were huge and delicious and it was so fun to see nat and the kids

 we went to her house for a couple hours and then grabbed dinner

and went home for jammies and popcorn and went to the movie in the park

 it was really fun

olive, hazel and eleanor all fell asleep but it was still a really good time

 saturday we went to the eagle days parade

we ran in to a friend and got our picture taken by a pro of our whole family sharing a sno cone

 i love michael all covered in our babies

 henry is becoming a big fan of parades

and suckers

 it was a funny parade because everyone stood in the road rather than sitting on the sides

 love him

 the second half of the parade is a city wide water fight

the floats spray the people and the people spray the floats

and michael used the kids as a shield

 they all got soaked and loved it

 i love eleanor's hair up

it's so cute

 we spent a lot of last saturday stripping and sanding our front door

so we could repaint it

it's now black and looks brand new but it was a huge pain

especially when the power went out and it was super stormy

 eleanor has ended up on our floor or in our bed most nights since her surgery...

 for FHE we were going to go on a bike ride

 we only made it as far as our friends the hunts' because we missed them

so we hung out there and then convinced them to drop their kids at our house and go on a date

our kids line up so perfectly

hazel and jane love each other so much

 eleanor has been missing "her jonny", too

 olive and claire have fun together, too

 noah and audrey love to hate each other

my trick (turning on a show in my room) worked to get eleanor to nap

until she fell off the bench...

 noah has been doing the breakfast dishes all summer

and he's getting really good at it

 i'm trying to teach henry to enjoy cuddling but he is not interested

 olive wanted to be a kitty yesterday

and while doing so

she cut her own bangs #badkitty

 apparently she wanted real bangs

she was sick of her hair in her face

so i cut them for her

and she loves them and looks so similar to me at the same age with bangs

 where the cool kids hang to eat popcicles before bed

 we let each of the kids pick a carrot from the garden

 it was very exciting

 jumping 

 the love these two have for each other makes me so happy

 playing soccer in the backyard

i love our big backyard

 we scored this hammock at DI for $3 last night and we're all really excited about it

i feel so blessed

with my family, my husband, our children, our home, our yard

life is great
