the very best saturday

we had a slow morning around the house

michael was teaching noah how to play the beatle's "hey jude"

listening to michael play and sing is my favorite

 then we went on a quick bike ride to the kids' school 

 they loved playing on the playgrounds

then after a long nap for henry and eleanor

we went to eagle island state park

 we brought the raft 

which is always a good time

 michael "fell" out of the raft

 swimming is olive's favorite

and with our snorkel goggles and life jacket she's invincible 

 noah and hazel went out with me later

 bunny ears!

 michael built a sweet sand castle

 he takes sand castle building very seriously 

 michael and olive

 water fight

 it was so much fun even if it's a little ghetto

it was a great use of a 108 degree day

 before we left michael stepped on a bee stinger (boo!), we shared a sno cone

and went down the water slide

it was olive's first time and she LOVED it!

 the kids thought it was so funny to watch me come down

 and just for funsies, a look at our trip to eagle island last year (the kids have grown so much!)
