hazel's 7th birthday {a pony party}

we had such a fun party for hazel today
she decided on a pony party months ago
so we looked into getting real ponies for it and we were able to get some!
i have loved horses since i was little and i love that hazel does, too
she especially loves pony rides
look at this gorgeous girl!
i made her this dress which she loves
and bought her riding boots
and michael made her flower crown
with some of our kids it takes a while to catch up with their new age
but hazel always feels like she's older than she is
it was really fun to put the treats together

 pony sugar cookies

we served watermelon, a veggie tray, pizza, sugar cookies, krispy kreme donuts,
chocolate dipped oreos, cake and lemonade
as soon as the party started the kids had pony rides
for the first hour they all took turns and ate
they each got several rides
hazel preferred riding whinny
noah looked so big on cookie

eleanor was the cutest little horseback rider
her hair kept bouncing all around
it made my heart swell
henry wasn't super thrilled to sit on the pony

olive has a deep love for animals
and i kept watching her lean forward to pet the ponies during her rides
she also fed them some carrots
 so happy
we decided to play pin the tail on the pony
noah drew our pony on a poster board
and he let hazel paint it
isn't it the cutest?
the kids had a lot of fun playing it

hazel is looking so old!
 present time!
have you ever seen a happier girl?
then it was time for cake
 hazel had 12 friends
which was pretty good for memorial day weekend

then it was time for the pony pinata
and then it was time to go
we gave each girl a little horse, a candy bracelet, a purple flower clip and some candy
then the candy they got from the pinata
it was a really fun party
we had some down time
then i took hazel to hobby lobby to spend a gift card she got and out to fro-yo
and then we went mini golfing
to reward hazel for filling her food chart
it went about as well as expected #awful
but the kids had fun
 off and on

it was a super fun day celebrating our hazel girl
she deserves it
