a little behind

henry is such a helper with our sunday school class

or a really cute distraction..

hazel and henry have lots of fun together

noah and hazel have been getting along so well lately

they made an agreement to be friends and i'm surprised they've really stuck to it

i can't possibly keep up with the toys and chaos upstairs

but i love keeping downstairs clean

it makes me so happy

super eleanor helped me mow the lawn

...by racing me back and forth

 and scootering around in the front

 the kids still love this beat up little jeep so much

 a really weird looking, but really delicious lunch

2 eggs and spinach cooked in the waffle iron, radish, avacado, cherry tomatoes and feta

 i've been on a pom pom short making kick

 we had our friends aimee and jason over for dinner with their kids mid-week

and it was so fun! a total pick-me-up on a wednesday

and nice to remember we do have some friends :)

 henry and eleanor are becoming the cutest little friends

the other day they went out to the playhouse without me really noticing

and played together for a long time

it was fun to find them out there enjoying each other

 my favorite little piano player

 i was nervous the girls would be unhappy i rearranged their room

but they love it! yay!

we also switched eleanor to a toddler bed (in their closet) from a crib and it's going great

she still naps and sleeps well

i told michael i wanted a little cruiser for mothers day

for little errands without the kids and my bulky bike, bike seat, trailer combo

and he delivered early!

 i don't know how we got so lucky with such sweet kids

but noah specifically checked out a duck book from the school library because he knew olive would like it and came straight home to read it to her

isn't he the best?

 michael's been fixing up my bike 

 saturday morning started with a 10 mile run for me

it was hot out so i was intentionally running through sprinklers and i got really tired

but it was a good run with some pretty scenery

later in the day we went to municipal park

and finally walked over to check out the nature center

it was awesome!

 not sure why eleanor stopped to pout

but i thought she was cute either way
