valentine's day

we had a really nice valentine's day yesterday

we made the kiddies pink heart shaped pancakes, bacon and hot chocolate for breakfast

 i love the way henry is looking at michael

 henry loved everything

 heart-breakers

 michael surprised me with the biggest bouquet of roses i've ever seen

such a sweetheart

after breakfast we hung out at home, hazel went to a playdate

and michael and i each ran 4 miles for week 2 of half marathon training

then in the evening we dropped the kiddies at a sitter

so we could go out

 we went to grimaldi's for dinner 

their pizza is insanely good

we were so bummed when we realized we'd left our leftovers there 

 then we went to a little old theater downtown because they were playing still alice

and it's the only theater playing it and they're only showing it for two days!

michael was so sweet to take me to it

it wasn't a super romantic movie or nearly as good as the book but sitll fun to go together

 i love this man more than words can say

 and just for funzies i realized when i came downstairs to go on our date

i was wearing a super similar outfit to the day i had henry

so how about a side by side

and 10 months later

i guess i should just look at this any time i feel like i still look pregnant :)
