henry is eight months........ ok, eight and a half

henry turned eight months on our thanksgiving trip

and i never took proper pictures or wrote a real post

and it's been nagging at me

so here we are

 right before henry turned 8 months he started climbing up the stairs....

all the way up the stairs

and when i talk to him about it, he crawls faster...

 his two bottom teeth are so cute

and it feels like he'll be getting his first top tooth very soon

 henry is a generally pretty happy baby

he loves the attention he gets in our big family

but he does not like eleanor messing with him

and he now screams at her if he thinks she's trying to be mean

he loves to get on the door of the dishwasher while i'm doing the dishes

oh, and let's not forget the pantry

henry is a big fan of the pantry

so many things to grab

and dump...

we are now more aware of keeping doors closed, as henry is quick to get in the bathroom

and a little too interested in the toilet for his young age

as well as the garbage cans...

i am not quite ready to have another busy child

but at least he's SO CUTE!

we decided to sleep train henry when he was seven months
and it went well
he's sleeping much better
he sleeps from around 7:30 at night
until 6ish and then eats and goes back to sleep for another hour or two
and he's even taking one or two decent naps a day
it's amazing
he used to never sleep and it made me crazy

henry is such a bright spot in our family
in fact, noah said he wants me to be pregnant with another baby brother for Christmas
it's not going to happen but i thought it was sweet
we all love taking care of henry and watching him learn new things
and michael loves being henry's new favorite person
henry whimpers if michael isn't holding him after he gets home from work
little heart breaker 

we love this boy so much
