but first a few cute pictures from yesterday
i think all the kids think the laundry cart is way more fun now that we have mostly hard floor
and not carpet
they've been giving each other lots of laundry cart rides
then i let olive and eleanor go crazy with the play-doh and it got pretty messy
when i saw the damage olive said, "i know, i know, i know"
i thought it was funny
and actually i don't mind them ruining it because then i get to throw it away
win win
hazel loved hula hooping at ballet yesterday
today....
today was funny
i took olive to her long awaited endocrinology appointment
and let's be clear
it was not just olive i took
eleanor and henry were there, too
and i wouldn't say they were on their best behavior
anyway..only to find out that olive is measuring normally!
despite her pediatrician telling us that she hadn't grown in the last year
and making me sick with worry
that she had something seriously wrong with her
so the endocrinologist suggested we get a full blood work up done at the hospital anyway
and we scheduled another appointment with him next week
but i wanted to talk to her regular dr first
and come to find out that someone just entered her 4 year measurement wrong
in the computer and she is still around the 40% just like she always has been
blurg!
it really is good news but still annoying
the really good news of the day is that someone is finally going to rent our rental house
so we won't be paying rent and mortgage anymore
HALLELUJAH!
that was really stressing us out
and...another good thing
olive got her pre-school pictures back today
isn't she a doll?!
look at my collection on the mantle!
i can't believe how grown up they all are!!
now i need to frame a picture of henry and eleanor, too
the kids have been loving the doggy door on our screen door
henry even thought about using it today :)
tonight i picked noah up after scouts so we could have a little date
isn't he the cutest?
we went to maverick for slurpees
and a little candy
annnnd michael didn't get home until super late
and i had to work on noah's book report with him for a lot of the evening
it was a pain
i feel so weird lately
like half really happy and content
and then like i want to explode at the same time
i think having our rental house off our plate will help
and maybe i'm just tired
who knows
maybe if henry started napping more consistently it would help, too....

You are in the hardest spot with your three youngest being so young and busy.
Yay for not paying to two places!
It's so good that you took the time to spend individually with Noah. It's so hard to do, but it means the world to them.
I love how you just talk about simple little things in life. It's an amazing record you will be able to share with your children.
I like being when the playdoh gets in tiny pieces all over so I can just sweep it up and throw it away. And I feel like sending you to an endocrinologist should have required a double check in the first place. Annoying is probably the nicest word I would be able to come up with.
I feel you on the mood swings. I think the inconsistent naps really plays a part into it. Kyler's sleeping is all over and I can never do what I need too. It gets frustrating. I am glad you do get the happy in the mix too...thats what keeps us going!
