a very exciting monday

noah and hazel brought home their school pictures

and i love them so much! i feel like we finally nailed it this year

plus, i totally get why everyone used to ask if they were twins

they do look a lot alike

eleanor said, "hey mom, look! eleanor climb. eleanor monkey. ooh ooh ahh ahh." silly girl!

 henry is preferring sitting up to laying down these days

he's so cute!

after everyone got home, we ate dinner and did homework

and then we were on our way to go run errands

when we decided to throw caution to the wind

and take the kids to the pumpkin patch for FHE

they were so surprised and so happy

they got to jump on a giant pillow

 we petted some animals

 and played at the playground

and went down the big potato sack slide

 and rode in the cow barrels

somehow michael and eleanor ended up sharing the smallest one

and barely fitting

it was pretty funny

 we went on a fun ride around the pumpkin patch

 we ate some mini doughnuts and sat by the fire after it was dark

and left with a wagon full of pumpkins

despite being a little cold because we weren't really planning on going

and didn't bring jackets

the kids said it was the best family home evening ever!

 we came home

and got jammies on 

and played with noah's glasses

 who knew henry would look so cute in them?

 olive likes to steal the show

 twins!

it was a super fun day
