a few little tidbits and summer is ending soon

just olive taking a little nap on michael at costco

 noah is a bit of a perfectionist

i wondered why it was taking him so long to unload the dishwasher the other day

this is why

 i don't like playing games unless it's cards with michael

but hazel had asked me to play candyland a few times and i put her off

until the other day when i realized how soon school will start and i'll miss her like crazy

we played at least 5 times and olive joined us

 yesterday was a super rainy day

hazel was so excited to grab her rain boots and umbrella 

she loves it when it rains

but mostly for the accessories 

 noah likes any excuse to wear michael's zip up

  as soon as we got to swimming lessons they cancelled it because of lightning

so we called it a movie/popcorn/pajama day 

we rented rio 2 and the new muppet movie

the kids loved it

i even made them hot chocolate

i love how much noah loves henry

and how well he takes care of him

 later olive and hazel got invited to a play date

and when they got home olive fell asleep on the coffee table for quite a while

it was pretty funny

i guess we're just having too much fun

 last night michael and noah saw a rainbow

 this morning henry got up around 6:30am per usual (after 9 hours of sleep)

and then we both went back to sleep

then i woke up around 7:15 because olive was awake

and i realized everyone was

noah had gotten henry up all on his own

and they were all playing in his room

sweet kids

tomorrow is the last day of swimming lessons

and next week we're free

we don't have any plans

maybe we'll go to the zoo or a new park or something

and then they start school the next week! so crazy.
