this is what summer looks like around here

lots of time in the backyard pool

 a clingy two year old who needs to be rocked with her baby brother

 poolside dinners outside

 long naps in the mamaroo

 cute sweaty babies because our AC went out

but luckily got fixed the next day

 yard work in the evening after it's not so hot (101 degrees or more)

with a baby who loves watching the trees sway

 dinosaur sketches in preparation for an art camp next week

 putting finishing touches on henry's room

digging a lego out of a two year old's nose

because for some reason she likes sticking random objects up there

WHY?! 

playing in the front yard with these little darlings

while waiting for michael to get home

 riding bikes

 and laying in the grass

we're having a good summer

the kids are doing their chores well 

and henry slept 10 straight hours last night!!!

and we're eating lots of otter pops :)

so yeah, pretty good
