eagle island state park

there is a super awesome state park near our house

with a swimming area, rafting area, water slide, and playground

and we actually went prepared so we spent a good chunk of the day there

eleanor in goggles is the funniest

 noah and olive spent hours together playing in the water

hazel would join them off and on

 look at that cute guy

 and that cute baby

 we gave olive this little boat for her birthday and she loved floating around on it

 my dad just gave us this awesome raft while we were visiting last week 

which was perfect because we were about to buy one for outings like these

and it wouldn't have been nearly as heavy duty

 the kids loved it

 and so did we

 this water slide was super fun, too

 eleanor and olive were too little to go on it

so they got to eat sno cones while we all took turns

 woohoo!

 we spent our time in the shade of a big tree

so henry wouldn't get too much sun

 he liked rolling around

but didn't love being out in the heat

i think it was 99 degrees yesterday

 noah, hazel and olive playing around together

it was so fun

when we moved to idaho 

i was a little sad not to live near water (like in seattle)

but this is a pretty good substitute 

we'll have to go back again soon
