yesterday michael went on noah's field trip to the local library
we figured he should take advantage of not being in school or working
and he had a good time being with noah
he also snapped a picture of the inside of noah's desk
what a slob!
henry is the cutest grumpy baby
we had to "show" our house to prospective renters last night
so michael stuck around and i took all five kids to target by myself for the first time
(just typing five kids almost gave me a panic attack)
it went surprisingly well!
hazel and olive fell asleep on the way there so noah and i rocked out to weezer together
when we got there i bought each of the kids their own small icee
and they thought it was so cool not to share (we normally get one large one for everyone)
the kids were seriously great and stayed in the cart the whole time
until we got to the toys and i let them out
and then they each got to pick a toy for $1.00 and they were happy about that
henry hung out in the ergo on me the whole time and was happy, too
and just in case you think i actually have it all together
here's a picture of my puffy eyes from crying a bunch last night
because having 5 kids can be hard
and we've been through a lot in the 5 weeks since henry was born!
plus sleep deprivation...
today we went to chipotle for lunch
and then ikea for possibly the last time before we move
can you believe they don't have ikea in idaho
or 7 ELEVEN! i'm not sure how we'll cope..
michael and i have found that wearing our babes is most effective when we go to stores
so i wear henry in the moby and he wears ella in the ergo
works like a charm and they both slept while we shopped ikea
the big kids were at the play area so it was pretty much a date
hot!
this afternoon michael took noah, hazel and olive to the provo rec center to swim
and i stayed home with eleanor and henry
who both napped and it was amazing

Knowing that you cry sometimes makes me think NO less of you. I still think you're amazing. Hang in there! I was so sad to read about Henry's rough time. Newborns are so scary and stressful to have. I hope everything turns out well.
It was fun to see Michael at the library. It was a fun field trip.
You look so beautiful in the pic where you are supposedly puffy. Not fair.
No Ikea or 7-11!? That will be rough.
Ps I think you are amazing.
French, you have to be the prettiest cryer out there. I'm so sorry it's been hard lately! what a fun date, though. seeing Eleanor hang off of Michael is hilarious. that hair!
sorry for the tough times, but good to know I'm not the only one who feels a little overwhelmed by motherhood - and I only have 2! you're awesome and you don't look puffy at all. way to take those five kids to target! it almost gives ME a panic attack just thinking about trying such a thing :)
