Michael is THIRTY!

here's one last picture of michael in his twenties
taken while we painted our master bedroom
michael's birthday breakfast request was eggs benedict
i've never eaten or made a poached egg before
but i figured it out and he said he loved it
(even though i'm pretty sure i botched the hollandaise)
after breakfast we went to costco and the park
we were surprised the splash pad was on already
but it was a nice day and it was fun to play in it

 olive got soaked
of course :)
then we went to cafe rio for lunch
and then to the kids' school for noah's 2nd grade talent show
he was cute and showed some martial arts kicks and punches
we stayed for the whole thing and took the kids home afterward
then we stopped and filled michael's balloons
the 3 popped right after we got it in the car
but michael took it back in and patched it and refilled it
 he's so cute

we came home for his peanut butter birthday cake
complete with 30 candles
olive helped him blow out the candles..
we had bubblegum soda and root beer with our cake

then my sweet friend kristin watched the kids so we could go out to dinner without them
we went to tucanos (just like last year)
it was delicious and so peaceful with only henry
he slept the whole time
i can't believe michael is thirty!
so old :)
i feel like he should feel pretty accomplished for thirty
he has five kids
 a masters degree
and he's about to start a good job
not bad, michael!
not to mention he's the best husband
and i love him
happy birthday, babe!

what a special day you made it for him, French! I love his shirts--the Psych one, the Bluth banana stand one. he's VERY accomplished at 30. I can't believe it!

I love that Noah did martial arts for the talent show.

Those balloons are sweet! I might need an 8 for Add's baptism.

Happy birthday Michael!

That's quite the impressive list for 30, or 40, or 50 for that matter! :)
