bridal veil falls and park city!

we figured we should live up our LAST weekend in utah

so we took the kids back to bridal veil falls

it was a beautiful day and the kids love going there

 i love eleanor's white girl afro

 michael and noah hiked the falls while the girls played in the water

 so pretty and if you look closely you can see michael toward the bottom of the picture

the girls loved feeding the fish

until one jumped at hazel and really freaked her out

 noah and michael went pretty far up 

and if you can see them, they're on their way down

 i always think it's the cutest when eleanor is on michael's back

she's pretty timid and didn't really like playing in the water

 we brought a little picnic and had it on our way out

the kids loved having a picnic

he turned 7 weeks old yesterday

 me and the kiddies

 we decided we should probably go to park city before we move next week

we'd never been and wanted to see what all the fuss was about

 the downtown was cute and we liked how many quaint 7-elevens there were :)

then we went to the olympic park

it was really cool

and we decided to ride the giant slide with the three oldest

 we had to take turns since henry and eleanor were too small to ride the ski lift up

 i went up first with noah and olive

the plan was that noah would ride alone

and i would ride with olive as my passenger

but...noah was too light and too scared and got off half way through

so an employee rode down with him

 it was pretty sad because he went first

and then olive and i were already following behind when he came walking up the side crying

but he liked it when all was said and done

 olive thought it was too fast at first but she liked it, too

 michael and hazel went up next

(i thought it was a little scary myself...when did i become such a sissy?)

they're so cute

 hazel wasn't very happy with michael for going down so fast

since you get to choose your own speed with a brake

but she liked it anyway

it was a fun, adventurous day

the slide was way fun and i'm glad we did it

the kids said it was the best day ever

and we hope they'll remember the fun times we've had in utah
