henry is one month old!

 our sweet little love bug is a month old today

i am completely in love with him

he is such a darling boy and i am so happy to have him in our family

i'm trying to suck up all his newborn-ness 

i hate how quickly this part passes

look at those little crossed legs! 

 at one month, henry is so close to smiling at me

sooo close! and i'm so excited!

he is getting more mellow all the time which is nice and sleeping for longer stretches 

he often sleeps for about 4 hours between feedings

sadly the same is true during the day and night 

last night after 4 hours of sleep from 10-2 he wouldn't fall asleep again for two more hours!

 i'm so tired but i wouldn't trade it for a thing

when henry gets sad he is quick to pout his bottom lip and it is completely adorable

reminds me of noah

when he's distressed he gets a dent in his forehead

after a bath, his hair gets super fuzzy

he loves to study things and is super alert

he hates the car less and less (thank goodness)

and loves to grab my hair by the handfuls 

....
